With a garden trimmer motor as base my task was
to design a light weight, reliable, portable boat
motor and present a report that would serve as basis
for building a prototype.
The development process contained of for example:
- Create design specification
- Early total design sketches
- Detail design sketches
- Chose, calculate and design containing parts
- Identify and look up standard components
- Chose relevant materials
- Generate CAD-models (Alias and Ideas)
- Create drafts
